While I was leaving the NICU last night, I came across a little basket filled with chocolate bars.
The paper on it says happy Grandparents day.
I was hungry anyway, so I grabbed a couple of bars. One for me and one for myself. No sharing when it comes to chocolate. No wayyyyyyyyyy!
Growing up, I only knew my maternal Grandfather, he was a good man. A man of peace. I will totally miss your Rich African story nights. Nights of imagination. Nights of family reunion. Nights when we were just your children and grandchildren. No competition. No malice. No hate.

Well, Happy Grandparents to My parents who are doing a great job for Dana right now. Happy Grandparents day to the DUDE family. He is the luckiest kid for having y'all. y'all rock.
