Bus Rider

Dana for some reason or reasons  have always wanted to be a bus rider. Riding the bus like some of her classmates.

Well, her wishes are coming true soon because I will be getting her registered tommorow in a daycare.

They provide bus rides to and from school. Breakfast,  lunch and dinner served. And lots of friends to play with.

I am returning to work soonest.  Daniel will be staying with his Dad at home and he will be working nights.

All hail the newest bus rider in town.   Danaaaaa!

Beetle Car

My uncle used to have a blue Beetle car when I was very young. That car used to give him a lot of hassles. Failure to start, overheating engine, no A/C. etc. Lmao.

He was always asking for help to push start it. Moreover,   The engine was in the trunk ( booth), and he kept the door open,  I can still here the noise in my brain- ta-ta-ta-pa-pa-ta-ta.

Very noisy and awkward looking car; and you have to raise the passenger's seat to get to the back.  Very claustrophobic.  Jeez.

My sister and I used to call it tortoise car and it looks more like a turtle than a beetle (bug) to me.

Found one in a parking lot today and I fell in love with Miss Beetle, turtle,  tortoise car.
Looking sharp unlike my uncle's.

Medicals Bills

Wow! The medical bills are pouring in like rain water. I am getting more mails than the post office. I have medical insurance, yet I get billed and bills.

The insurance company is playing their little game of paying some amount and throwing some my way. Saying that they pay 80%, I pay 20%. Huh?

That was  not the deal. 100% payment was the deal. Very frustrating


Looking at them bills is so depressing but I am grateful to be well and alive.

Oh, Hey, where is my phone, it is time to call HR for work.

Bills are not gonna pay themselves.

loads

With the mountains of dirty laundry growing in my home, I woke with cleaning on my mind.

Never knew that children used so much clothes; and just before you get around to washing the clothes, they outgrow them. 《puzzle face》.

Today, I have already done some good Loads of laundries  ironed and folded. Now,   I feel flat.  Like, flat out Pheeeeew.

Almost done but I need a nap. A`Good~Daniel~do~NOT~disturb~nap.
Or maybe I need a prayer.
Oh~Dear~God~do~Not~let~Daniel~Disturb~my~nap.

Reporting

I am reporting live from MacDonald's, where I took the kids to play. It gets boring on Saturdays without activities.

Dana played with other kids for over an hour until I heard a loud cry. Yup! No need to look, that will be my daughter yelling.

No surprises,  she was the one; another girl called her ua baby.  Oh noooo! No drama for me.

Wear your shoes darling, we are leaving now, I said. She obeyed and off we went.

When drama starts, I exit before I appear on youtube.  And by the way, kids fight and reconcile in seconds.

Trust no kiddies fight.

Mohawk

Even though Daniel was born prematurely,  his haircut was on point.  Nice, pointy, shaved, Mohawk.

 Everybody said we choose a nice hairstyle for him. Nooooo,  we didn't,  he had it from birth.

 This is our reply or conversation everytime we go out and I think it is funny.

His Dad hinted that he was gonna trim it yesterday,   noooo! I hid all the scissors in the house. Still hidden.

 No way, I love my Mohawkish baby. He got baby swag. Hehehehe!

Dry Throat

Went to Texas Medical Center today to see an ENT ( Ears, Nose and Throat) doctor. Very nice Doctor.

I was all smiles until he showed me the long, thin camera that was going down my throat through my nose. I froze.

That was the one of my most uncomfortable medical episode. Very uncomfortable.  He was trying to talk me through it by asking questions but,  I froze and went deaf and dumb on him.

Uhhhhh!

Doctor concluded that I needed to be on two new meds. One for gastrointestinal esophageal reflux disease (GERD) and another for allergies( stuffy nose and scratchy throat).

I want to be so free from meds; and yet I get more.

SAD.

Control

I am a Type A personality, verified and confirmed.  Even when I try to claim Type z in my head, the A comes a roaring .

I stress over things I have control over and things I don't.   I know I stress out a lot and it shows on my hard -brick - tensed- shoulder muscles.

However,  I catch my self sometimes and tries to de stress or un stress ( I hope these grammars exist)  by doing yoga.  Yes, yoga.

I did Yoga in College, it involves a lot lot of twisting and turning on your head.  Loads of explosive farts, falling and sometimes, falling into  deep sleeping by my classmates and I.

One day, just as I was about to stretch, my pants (trousers) ripped. Sherawwwooooooooh.  Wow, I digress.

Now, a delivery to a friend is yet to get to her and It was sent a week ago.   No getting pissed yet, I will

do a Child pose (yoga) for now.

Earth Day

Google told me  today was earth day.  Wow! A day dedicated told  our precious earth, our world. Our space. Our land. Our in habitat. Our earth.

Our precious earth, ever so resourceful.

Social

My mother called us on Easter day, I can hear the sadness in her voice, she misses us.
We told her, we missed her too. Oh! My dear mother.

Mom and I used to disagree quite often in my teenage years because she classified me as "socially awkward".  No boyfriend, no partying,  no visiting friends. Always alone.

She forgot I got 2 sisters and 2 brothers to cater for. 4 siblings and many other distant relatives living in our house.

The only thing i Just  wanna do was stay indoors and read my novels. That will be after doing my chores of course.

And when I finally started dating,  she complained.  You go out too much, she lamented.

As of now, she is my best friend.  Love her. I guess distance really makes the heart grows fonder.

 Yuuuup!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to everyone.  We all went to church today.  We then went to the outdoor Easter party. It was fun for the kids.

Perm

I finally took out Dana's braids today. It was a lot  of work but we did it. Not a task  I was looking forward to but I have to.

When we finished, she jumped up and was ready to go out and play.  Oh no baby,  you need a perm, I said.

With a big frown across her forehead, I applied the relaxer creme and in less than 10 minutes, she was itching.

Rushed her to the makeshift saloon in her bathroom and washed her hair.

Finished in 30 minutes and saved about $50.

Common Scents

I got this Air freshner machine in 2010; got some   batteries and the cointainer, but I lacked the skill to put together.

Let just say, I did not follow the rules. "Do it the way I feel attitude". Did not work.

For some weird reason or reasons, this little machine did not work.  So I did not worry about it. However, whenever I came across it, I always try to put it together. No success for 3 or 4 years now.

So I finally put it in a little bag and kept it away. Away for what? Not sure. Maybe for my grandkids or future scientists. Hehehehe!

As I was cleaning my closet today, I came across the machine again and I sat on the floor and read the manual like I did years before.

This time, I followed the instructions,  word for word. Inserted, the batteries. Then the can and  CLICK goes the cover.

I waited and waited and waited.

Puff! Puff! Puff! The machine is working... hurray! It took 4 years to get it right, and I am glad my sense was common.

It sounds inconsequential but I feel a sense of accomplishment. Join me in rejoicing.
