Socks

My question today is where do missing socks go??

I have a load of one legged socks and can never find the other pair. I have searched and searched to no avail.

Do socks disappear or they they get liquefied???
As careful as I am with the kiddies socks, they disappear on me every laundry wash.

As for my socks, they are no where to be found. Strange.

If anybody have the answer, let me know. I need it. Lol.
