How sad.
That hurts.

The faces of the players were in  pain.
I saw the eyes of the spectators also.
All proud Chester fallen.
No grin, just grim.

We haved been holed up all week in this house, so with a beautiful weather prediction today, I took the kids to a park.

The only problems were lovers licking their faces all over the place.  Lol!

My mom is a very good cook. A master chef in local  African cuisine. Infact she owned two Restuarants long time ago.

My mom loves the kitchen. She once told me that she can cook all day but hates to do the dishes. Hehehehe.

 I hate the dishes and the kitchen.

Motherhood forced me into the kitchen and plus I have no money for a paid chef.  Working towards that goal. Yup.

Back to reality,  Dana   found fresh corn at Walmart yesterday.  Bought six of them. Boiled them and Dana finished them in 3 hours.

We will be back at walmart tommorow.
Early bird shopping before she wake up.

Week Off.

Kids and I are taking a week off. Sleep more, eat well and bond well. Just enjoying the holidays.

However,  we went to Daniel's 1 year well child appointment today and everything was great except.

Except the part where he is refusing to eat solid food. Milk! Milk ! Milk! He wants.

The nice, young heavily pregnant Doctor jokingly told him he was a toddler now and he needs to eat food. He frowned at her.  Lol!

Next week they will be staying with a  new baby sitter, for now we snoreee.

Stay safe yall. My prayers for Nigeria and Nigerians today. Sad events happening there.

They did a lot for humanity and generations unborn will hear their name and love them.

Now, you and I are regular peeps right?  But  that does not stop our heroic moves. Do you know that a smile can make someone's  day?

A good morning wish can reach out to a depressed soul. People are fragile, and your words and actions can break or make them.

 In my darkest and loneliest hour, I heard a phrase from a colleague.

Those words inspired  and motivated me so much

What are you repeatedly doing and expecting a different result?

Is it academically,  relationship,  family, health, financially,  employment related?

 Whatever it is, we need to re strategies and do it differently.


Let's search ourselves.

The answer lies within you and I.

With God on our every side, we will suceed.

Not

One of my favorite motto or phrase is " Failure is not an option". Even with failure trying to knock down my door sometimes, I relock that door.

Whenever we open our eyes in the morning, we are already sucessful.  Why? We woke up and many did not.

And another sucess story  is when we put our feet on the floor and walk. Walking is a miracle. Why? Ask the paralyzed person,  they will tell you.

Now, no matter the circumstances,  believe in yourself and know that you a walking miracle.

Trust in God and know that HE will never ever leave you alone.

I hope I spoke to someone out there.

I am not regretting the fact that I am the oldest of five kids. I actually feel it is the best gift ever but sometimes,  I secretely wished that i had an older sister or a twin.

Or even a close aunt or a relative for trusting womanly confidential talks. Someone to ask about my changing teenage body and what to do. Someone to show and

guide me into the sacred womanhood.

An older one to show me the ropes when I started dating, someone to share that "question" with. Someone to share the aches and pains and the joy and love.

I dabbled into everything myself  And equally dabbled out.  Google was unavailable then but I learned a lot by myself.

I am happy for the woman I have become. A strong one with listening ears, sensitive lips and a forgiving heart. Still working on my bad parts though.

Hey little sister, I know you read this blog daily. Do not be afraid to ask me anything. Anything!  I am here for you. That is why God made me the eldest and assistant mommy.

Be a guide to someone yall.
